Love Actually Recap Ep 4-10(Spoilers)

The reason why I am making such short recaps is because the drama is going by extremely fast. So fast that I can barely keep up with the recaps, since they came out a week ago @_@!

爱的蜜方 Love Actually Recap Ep 4-5:

Alright! So here’s episode 4.  After Xiao Xia leaves then Chen household, everybody is sad and realizes how much they needed her and Yuan Guang in their lives. When Xiao Xiao figures out that Xiao Xia isn’t after Li Yang, but is Hao Jie’s “fiance” she becomes regretful of her actions and tells the truth to the family and tries to mend things before they get out of hand. Having nowhere else to go, Xiao Xia is convinced to come back. Let me just say that Xiao Xiao is like the cutest girl ever lol! She is fiesty yet incredibly endearing. I like her a lot, and I wish Li Yang likes her later, because it doesn’t seem like it now. Speaking of Li Yang, Xiao Xiao gets Xiao Xia to help her make a cake for Li Yang.

Meanwhile, Hao Jie seems like he’s in a lot of trouble once again. His story seemed a bit distant til now, when Xiao Xia finds Hao feng beaten up in the street. This is where the most obvious cut came from(apart from Li Yang’s naked scene I guess) and I wish we got to see it. Not that I’m sadistic and I want Hao Feng beaten up, but it sucks for the actor to have to go through the scene and not have his scene shown. But, we get a really awkward yet cute scene where Xiao Xia is applying some medicine to Hao Feng’s face and they are so uncomfortably close that it’s hilarious. Another cute scene before the episode ends is when Hao Feng and Xiao Xia is making a cake and they again get really close. Sparks are flying haha! Too bad it drops to the floor later.

However, in episode 5 those sparks seem to dwindle when Hao Jie returns home from the hospital badly beaten up. Xiao Xia keeps up the facade, much to her own dislike but Hao Jie doesn’t seem to have a problem with the idea. Just when Hao Feng’s suspicions let up, he over hears his brother talking on the phone about some money trouble, which brings him back to the DNA sample he got tested. He finds out that Yuan Guang is not Hao Jie’s son and reprimands Xiao Xia. She yells back at him and says the only reason she did what she did was to give Yuan Guang a real home.

爱的蜜方 Love Actually Recap Ep 6-7:

After being found out by Hao Feng, Xiao Xia goes home to explain to Mr. Chen that she’s a fraud and that she cant marry Hao Jie. However, Hao Feng stops her by saying that Hao Jie and Xiao Xia can’t get married without his family seeing hers(or getting their blessings). This post pones things for now, but it doesn’t save their situation. Instead, Hao Jie leaves again, and Xiao Xia is left alone with the family. Xiao Xiao decides to take the family out to cheer them up and they have a big bbq. Xiao Xiao wanted a reward(a kiss) from Li Yang as appreciation but instead he gets a bug off her and she starts screaming. The family goes around a table and says what they all wish for where Hao Feng basically reveals that he won’t tell Xiao Xia’s secret. However, the happiness stops there when they get back home and Xiao Xia’s brother comes back and tries to steal from a man in the restaurant. She manages to catch him, but lets him go because he says if he doesn’t get the money, he’s going to be killed. Hao Feng get’s mad(like always -_-).

Feeling guilty, Xiao Xia finally reveals her true identity and her relationship with not only the robber but with Hao Jie. She decides to leave, and while the family looks for the robber, Xiao Xia looks for work and a new apartment. After finding the robber and realizing all the pain Xiao Xia’s brother has caused her, the family tries to get her back. Being a sneaky little man,  Hao Feng is the first to find her and texts Li Yang the address Xiao Xia is staying at. The family tries to convince her to come back but she refuses. When the family has no luck bringing her back, Hao Feng takes matter into his own hands and drags her back, telling Yuan Guang, “(let’s) go home”, which was sweet because he finally treats them like family.

Then Hao Feng and Li Yang have a talk about love, and Hao Feng mentions Xiao Xiao. The rest of the scene is a blur because I was fixated on the photo in the shot:

We’ve seen that photo before! LOL! It’s a very well known photo of him because  this was when he just got his short new haircut for ISWAK 2.

Anyways, The family returns to normal, and everyone is talking about Li Yang’s birthday. Xiao Xia wants to give him a special gift so she asks the family what is special to Li Yang but gets the same dull response until Mr. Chen tells her that he really wants to be like Hao Feng. She then talks to Li Yang about his dream, and she gets the idea to make him a chef outfit so he can work in the kitchen like his big brother. Hao Feng agrees and decides to help her out. Sparks fly again as Hao Feng continuous stares at her while she mends the outfit.

爱的蜜方 Love Actually Recap Ep 8-10

Oh this episode is soooo sad. While Xiao Xiao is trying to get an autograph from a famous manga writer who’s in town for Li Yang’s birthday, she goes through great length and stays for hours till the place is closed. When it’s time to give gifts, Li Yang is overcome with emotion when his family hands him a chef jacket and he’s finally able to become a chef. Xiao Xiao comes in with her autographed manga and thinks his happiness was from her efforts. She decides to confess to him so she enlists Xiao Xia to help. However, Li Yang is actually falling in love with Xiao Xia, and is deciding to confess to her as well. After a failed attempt, Xiao Xia helps Xiao Xiao bring Li Yang to the place she wants to confess. However, Li Yang has already recorded his confession and decides for Xiao Xia to listen while he closes his eyes. BAD IDEA! Xiao Xiao takes her place and hears the confession but mistakenly thinks it’s for her. To make matters worse, he kisses her thinking it’s Xiao Xia! When he realizes his mistake, Li Yang tells Xiao Xiao that the message wasn’t for her and she is brokenhearted.

Meanwhile, Hao Feng is left with the task of taking care of Yuan Guang. He finds out that Yuan Guang is hiding a flyer for parents/family day(I think that’s what it is) from Xiao Xia and investigates. He tells Yuan Guang that he’s going to bring Yuan Guang’s father to the school so Yuan Guang will be happy. When he finds Xiao Du(the father), Hao Feng convinces him to become a real father to Yuan Guang. Xiao Xia overhears this and is overcome with emotion. When the day comes, Hao feng expects Xiao Du to come, but he ends up not coming due to some other matter. After watching Yuan Guang being bullied, Hao Feng takes the responsibility and says that he’s the father. They become super chummy and friendly and Yuan Guang is happy again.

Later we find out that Mr. Chen is having health problems, where he keeps fainting all over the place. He goes to the hospital and asks the doctor to keep it just between the two of them. Xiao Xia is having her palate tested again with some special dishes. Turns out that the family wants her to learn the trade. She begins by learning how to cook with Hao feng. While making their famous soup, Xiao Xia feels faint and accidentally shares a kiss with Hao feng. Their sudden act freaks them both out and Hao Feng knocks over some vegetables into the soup, which screws up the recipe. At the same time Mr. Chen faints and is admitted to the hospital. Without telling Mr. Chen, Hao Feng closes down the restaurant for now.
